Ian’s 2000, Rover Mini Restoration

once we had stripped all the paint off we discovered rust creeping out of most of the factory seams

What started as a sympathetic restoration quickly turned into a major body restoration!

we replaced the sill panels, door shut panels, front windscreen and cowl panel, rear panel, beaver panel, Left and Right door skins, boot floor repairs side window opening repairs

With the metalwork complete it was into the paintshop to get the metal sealed in Epoxy primer.

next we set about the bodywork perfecting the body shapes and making sure the fit and finish of all the panels was just right!

After bodywork was complete we primed the whole body in Resto finish Poly Primer and once properly cured we started the blocking process using lucky blocks.

next we set about the bodywork perfecting the body shapes and making sure the fit and finish of all the panels was just right!
